How will the training work?

Much of the training is covered in the day to day activities at your RDA Centre. So when you are feeding and caring for the horses the supervisor is teaching and assessing you.

The sections not covered in the daily routines are covered in a workbook, you read through the workbook and complete the activities and then are assessed when you are ready.

Do all units have to be completed?

The riding and driving units are optional, you can pass the qualification without riding or driving horses. The 4 core units have to be completed.

How long does it take?

Once enrolled you have 12 months to complete, but most people will complete in about 6 months easily.
