Lying back watching a movie under a starry sky on the Swan River foreshore against the Perth skyline is one of the magical joys of our lifestyle. Knowing that you are helping out Riding for the Disabled your local children's charity is a bonus. All of this comes together at Movies by Burswood. Organised and run by a team of 300 volunteers the event benefits local charities seeking to improve the quality of life of children in a health or physical ability crisis.

Now in its eleventh year of operation, Movies By Burswood has raised over $1.6 million towards children's charities, with $601,000 raised in 2009.

In 2010 Riding for the Disabled was a lucky recipient of Movies by Burswoods receiving an incredible donation once again which will directly benefit children with disabilities in recreational and therapeutic equestrian activities.

This years Movies By Burswood is now in development for the coming summer opening in December, it's 11th season with plans to donate this year’s profits once again to chosen children's charities.  

A rundown of some of the films on offer this season will be show cased in December so you will be able to pick your favourites, organise a picnic basket or two, and enjoy nights at Movies By Burswood with friends while supporting important charitable organisations.
