Euroz gives some much needed support to The Riding for the Disabled in WA

Euroz Securities busy bees help out at RDA Carine

The Euroz volunteers had three main tasks to carry out, and split into teams.  Firstly, the task of painting the fences – the volunteers rallied to transform the space into a bright green fenced mounting area for horse and rider.  The second outdoor task was to stamp the special horse riding equipment with the name of the owners, such as Pablo, one of our four legged faithfuls. With his equipment clearly marked, there would be no mistakes in finding his tack.  Finally, one remaining outdoor paint job transformed the colourful jumping poles back to their former glory.  Afternoon tea was kindly provided by the Friendship Café, and the Euroz team learned more about the benefits to disabled people, and how RDA lessons benefit riders, depending on each of their special needs.

Shirley Kaye, State Executive Officer, said “The day was rewarding to all parties! To see the difference that a small group of people can make in just a day is very special. It highlights the strengths of teamwork and we are immensely grateful that Euroz were able to join and support us in such a positive way. The fulfilment that disabled riders experience is truly amazing, and it would not be possible without the support of so many.”

The day was rewarding to all.
